Ekelund
Welcome to the worlds oldest weaver family:
Ekelund is a Swedish, environmentally certified family business with textile ancestry from the 15th century and as a company since 1692. Their timeless designs, inspired by the Scandinavian nature and pattern treasure will make you want to come home. All production takes place in their own factory. Their patented rainbow technique, also called pixel weaving, revolutionized weaving art and is used for many of the designs. High-quality and mainly organic natural materials, providing lasting value and contributing to a sustainable approach - this is Ekelund. Since 2016, the company is environmentally certified and respects the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).
- Machine wash up to 60°C. Please wash separately first time at 60°C.
- Wash with similar colours without fabric softener. To preserve natural color, use laundry detergent without bleach or optical brighteners.
- Shake out thoroughly after washing and shape textile for good results.
- Hang up to dry. Tumble dryer is not recommended and should never be used for textiles containing linen.
-
For optimal smoothness, dampen textile and then iron lengthwise.
- You will notice some small threads for the hems when you receive your item. They should only be cut after the first wash to prevent the seams from rising.
- Size changes during first wash. The specified dimensions refer to the washed product.
